How do I book an appointment? How do I know which treatment is right for me?
To schedule an appointment, please text 941.544.5376. If you’re unsure which treatment to choose, you can schedule a complementary phone consultation. Before your first appointment, you’ll also receive a full assessment and consultation to determine the best treatment plan for your needs.
Do I need a referral to book?
Most new clients come to Glow through word-of-mouth—and I love that. If you’ve been referred by someone, feel free to mention their name when reaching out.
For male clients:
Glow is a private, relationship-based practice. In order to maintain the trust and comfort of all clients, I currently only accept male clients by referral from existing clients or their partners, family, or close friends.
If you're not sure whether that applies to you, you're welcome to reach out and ask—I'm always happy to clarify.
When should I arrive for my appointment and where do I park/enter ?
There is a parking lot in front of and to the side of the building for your use. The building is marked Tuttle Wellness Center and the door you enter says GLOW. If you arrive early for your appointment please make yourself comfortable in the waiting area. Lily will come out to get you.
How should I prepare for my treatment? What should I do after my treatment?
While it’s perfectly fine to come as you are, if it’s possible for you to come and leave without makeup, that is ideal. Depending on which treatment you receive, post-procedure can range from nothing but a glow to a several day recovery period that sometimes includes heat and sun avoidance. Chemical peels can result in longer post-procedure recovery times as peeling and flaking can last up to 2 weeks. You will be advised of pre and post procedure instructions prior to your service and reminded again after. Lily is always a phone call or text away should you have any questions or concerns.
DISCONTINUE ANY STRONG TOPICAL MEDICATIONS SUCH AS RETINOIDS, HYDROQUINONE OR ACNE MEDICATION AS WELL AS PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN GLYCOLIC OR SALICYLIC ACIDS AND HEAVY EXFOLIANTS FOR UP TO 3 DAYS PRIOR TO ANY APPOINTMENT BUT ESPECIALLY BEFORE CHEMICAL PEELS AND WAXING.
visit the pre/post procedure page for specifics by treatment type.
How often should I get facials?
The ideal frequency depends on your skin type, concerns and goals. In general, most treatments are recommended every 4-6 weeks for optimal results. Some advanced treatments may require a series of sessions spaced closer together, while others can be done seasonally. During your consultation, we’ll create a plan tailored to your skin’s needs.
What is the difference between brow tinting and henna?
Brow tinting stains the hair for a natural, polished look, while henna stains both the hair and skin for a more filled-in effect that lasts longer.
How long does eyelash tinting last?
Lash tinting typically lasts about 4-6 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle.
